You are always depressed, here’s why
Depression is not curable, but it is definitely mitigate-able. Before knowing how to mitigate depression, you first have to know why you have depression.
The WHY, depression
Boredom. The reason why most people have depression is that they have too much fucking time on their hands.
You might argue that the breakup you had with Timmy or the death of your mother was the reason why you’re depressed, but that’s not true.
Depression is depression because you give depression time to develop.
When you are bored, your brain does magic. When you are bored, your brain starts to recall unfulfilled endeavours in the past.
When you recall them, your brain reconstructs those memories, and more often than not, they will be worse than reality. This is why you are depressed. You are giving depression too much time to grow.
You are too bored with nothing meaningful going on.
The HOW, depression
Work. Not just work, I don’t want you to be a workaholic in dealing with your own grief.
I want you to work in order to buy time for your mood to be ameliorated.
