Why your friends are rude
Why are your friends rude? Because you have different standards as their friends’.
You might think that Timmy should be high-fiving you when you guys say bye-bye, yet Timmy always just leaves with a wave.
Your standards are weird.
I will explain why your standards are different from others and offer a solution to make your friends not rude.
Why are your friends rude?
First of all, your standards are just like everyone else — different. If you can find two people that have the exact duplication of standards for friends, you should be scared of human clones.
Different people in different households, in different circles, in different education systems ought to have different takes on friendships.
You ain’t going to have “respectful” friends in all aspects unless you meet a phoney.
A solution to rude friends.
You model it.
You can never tell Timmy to quiet down in the subway and therefore he complies.
You can never do that because Timmy never understood the benefits of not shouting in the subway. If the lesson is not apparent, he will never learn from it.
