Why my girlfriend is my property (and why it’s not misogynistic)

This ain’t no clickbait, I will use all my philosophical juice in my brain to argue my position.

So my girlfriend said that she doesn’t mind being my property, and I obviously tried to tell her not to belittle herself. But then, she said, “The word property is merely a neutral word, it is only because there are meanings given by humans, where it is generally interpreted in a negative manner”.

Akin to the word “chair”, you ain't thinking of this:

It is only after humans have given these five letters C H A I R meaning to this four-legged thing that you can sit on.

“Property” might be getting a vibe or interpretation of “owned by”, but it is merely what society thinks of language.

Just like how Heiddinger created so many new words to explain unprecedented ideas, the lack of words in the language made my girlfriend use the word “property” to describe herself. ]

She said I am your shadow and you are my light.

Based on face value, shadow is sub to light, because shadow only exists when light exists. This means that she can only have value because of me.

But this ain’t the case. A shadow indeed only exists after the light is present, but without shadow, you would not notice the light. With the difference in brightness, you would not know there is light.

All you will is “whiteness”. It is the yin to my yang. She is the yin to my yang.
