Heidegger’s Newly Coined Vocabulary: Philosophy that Requires NON-Human Languages

Heidegger is that chad that makes his own words to explain his ideas. Basically saying that we humans are too fucking dumb that no words can explain his excellency.

Oh well, here are 15 vocabs that he made, and what they mean, and how it applies to our lives.

  1. Dasein — Being-there. Refers to human existence, and the way in which humans are present in the world. It is a term that highlights the importance of human presence and how we experience and engage with the world around us. Example: The feeling of being present and engaged in a social gathering or event.
  2. Geworfenheit — Thrownness. Refers to the idea that humans are thrown into the world without their consent, and that we are born into a specific time, place, and cultural context. It is a term that highlights the ways in which our experiences and understanding of the world are shaped by our circumstances. Example: The experience of being born into a certain family or culture, and the impact that has on our worldview.
  3. Sein-zum-Tode — Being-toward-death. Refers to the idea that human existence is inherently finite, and that our awareness of our own mortality shapes our experiences and understanding of the world. It is a term that…
