Achieving $1500 in 2 Weeks: A Story of an 18-Year-Old

No need to be concerned, the heading of this piece is not clickbait. I did earn more than 12000 HKD within two weeks, which is about $1500 after taking out taxes and commissions. This income was not acquired from passive sources such as blogs or YouTube videos, nor was it through the ‘hard work will soon pay off’ mentality. Instead, it was a result of stock trading. This article is not about the trading itself, but rather the attitude one must have to make money in the present day.

Be impervious to the norms

Do not ever, not one second, succumb to the social norms. “Go to school and get a job!” “Work with a humble heart, and you shall rise to the top.” Cliche do they sound that these ideas are pervasive in my area? My thought about trading was not embraced by my parents, not one bit. Yet, I still chose to stay true to myself, and the next thing I know, I was up $150 in the first 3 days in trading.
